Nigerians react as #WhereIsBuhari trends on Twitter

Nigerians have been reacting to the leaked audio that claimed Buhari and Kyari are not in the country. #WhereIsBuhari is currently trending on Twitter.

Howeve, Personal Assistant on New Media to the President, Bashir Ahmad, has replied anyone who is asking where is Buhari?

“FAKE NEWS ALERT: The voice note that President@MBuhari and Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari have been secretly flown out of the country is totally UNTRUE.

“It was intentionally recorded to cause chaos and fear. This fake news was originated and being circulated by one @jacksonpbn,” he tweeted.

But Nigerians are still reacting to the so called leaked audio.

Here are some reactions below:

chijioke, Ph.D., Nuclear Engineering(Affidavit).@Ekwulu: Buhari.appearing on NTA news this evening and addressing this nation will be enough to erase all doubts you don’t even need to debunk the news.
Damilola@ejersda95: The best thing to do to debunk this rumor is for the president to address us anything safe from that will only exacerbate the rumors and will make more fake news to surface, HE SHOULD GIVE A LIVE PRESS CONFERENCE!!!!
Nwoke Nkwerre @alvanchinaka: My brother you counter a fake news with a superior argument. What’s that SUPERIOR argument? Let the President do a LIVE video chat to Nigerians.
