Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has brought in two fresh midfield options in the absence of Croatia international Mateo Kovacic. Billy Gilmour and Toni Anjorin have all made the club’s 24 man team for the champions league semi finals.
Billy Gilmour had already been in the Chelsea side but has been kept away under new boss Thomas Tuchel. The 19 year old operates mainly as a holding midfielder. He had a lot of game time during Frank Lampard’s reign but has been kept out of the team since the new boss took charge.
On the other hand, Tino Anjorin is an English attacking midfielder of Nigerian origin. He plays primarily as an attacking midfielder but can also fill in on the wings. He wears the number 55 shirt for the blues.
The 19 year old midfielder is believed by those around Chelsea to be one of the most promising youngsters to emerge from the club academy in recent time.
Manager Thomas Tuchel will be hoping the addition of these two midfield men will help propel Chelsea to glory in the Champions league as well as in the FA Cup this season.
