OFFICIAL: Chelsea release confirmed squad for UEFA Champions League

It is now Official, Chelsea’s Champions League squad has now been released on the club website after the midnight deadline on Tuesday.

Fank Lampard has a task on his hands to make good progress in domestic football’s most prestigious competition, but the squad they have submitted is somewhat stronger than last seasons that’s for sure.

There aren’t really any surprises, except perhaps the inclusion of three first team left backs. But Emerson Palmieri has also been used as a winger so this could come in to play.

Chelsea are making the use of the under-21 rule for the B-List –

The B-List is made up of players aged 21 or younger with two years’ training at the club. This list can be updated at any time up to midnight before a Champions League match.
