Official Done Deal: Arsenal announce the signing of Leo Messo
Whilst Lionel Messi’s future is yet to be decided, the future of talented 10-year-old, Leo Messo, yes you read that correctly, has been confirmed as lying with Arsenal, with the Gunners announcing his signature today. The talented youth player had previously spent time training with West Ham United’s younger teams, but will join up with the Gunners’ Academy ahead of the 2021/22 season.
Having been born in Kenya, Messo is considered one the brighter young prospects who could represent the nation, although obviously he would qualify to play for England eventually too. Messo has already been pictured with an Arsenal shirt, wearing the No.9, in Arsenal’s club offices, although there is recognition that these kind of youth signings often take a lot of work afterwards. Messo will have to deal with the difficulties of teenage years and his body developing physically, all whilst training with an academy as well regarded as Arsenal’s.
-David Alaba close on joining real madrid
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that David Alaba will be joining Real Madrid this summer. According to Fabrizio Romano, the first part of the contract has been signed and completed. An official announcement is expected at the end of the season when all documents will be completed.
-Chelsea Contacts Bayern Munich striker
Chelsea have reportedly ‘made contact’ with Robert Lewandowski as Thomas Tuchel looks to resolve his striker problems. The Bayern Munich star is the latest forward to be linked with Chelsea, who are on the search for a goalscorer with boss Tuchel running out of patience with the struggling Timo Werner. Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland and Inter Milan’s Romelu Lukaku are both being touted for possible switches to Stamford Bridge this summer while Harry Kane is also being considered after he handed in a transfer request at Tottenham.
But Tuchel is now said to have turned his attentions to 32-year-old Lewandowski, who has been prolific again this season with an astonishing 47 goals from 39 games. Sky Sports Germany claim Chelsea have already sounded out the Bayern Munich striker about a summer move, with the striker believed to be considering his future at Bayern. Chelsea have notably struggled for goals this season with midfielder Jorginho their top scorer in the Premier League with seven, which have all come from the penalty spot. Although Lewandowski has been identified as one of Chelsea’s main options, their transfer chief Marina Granovskaia faces a huge battle to convince him to join with the striker understood to be favouring a move to Spin over the Premier League.

Chelsea plan to step up their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund England star Jadon Sancho by launching an £80 million bid. The London club are huge admirers of Sancho but face a battle with Premier League rivals Manchester United for his signature.
-Arsenal are stepping up their interest in Norwich playmaker Emiliano Buendia
Arsenal have intensified their pursuit of Emiliano Buendia as they look to replace Martin Odegaard, who is set to return to Real Madrid this summer. The Gunners have been long-term admirers of Buendia and were credited with an interest last summer but never made the move. However, after tracking the winger’s progress at Carrow Road and witnessing his impressive form this season, Mikel Arteta is eager to add him to his ranks. According to Goal, Arsenal’s technical director Edu has started to step up the club’s interest in Buendia and labelled him as their primary target for this summer’s transfer window.
However, the Gunners are yet to make an official offer for the Norwich City playmaker. The 24-year-old has enjoyed an exceptional season and played a major role in Norwich winning the Championship and earning promotion back into the Premier League. Buendia scored 14 goals this season and registered 17 assists – more than any other player in the division. He also created more big chances and completed more through balls and passes in the final third than any other player in the Championship this season.However, to acquire Buendia’s services, Arsenal will be required fork out around £40 million for the attacking midfielder – who has three years remaining on his contract at Norwich.
-Manchester United told Felix is not for sale
It has been eight years since Manchester United last lifted the Premier League title and whilst they have been making steady progress under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, it is widely accepted they will need further reinforcements if they are to beat the likes of Man City and Liverpool to the crown. United have already tied Edinson Cavani down to a bumper new contract but Solskjaer was quick to state that doesn’t mean they won’t be in the market for a new forward this sumer, with the likes of Harry Kane, Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho all heavily linked with transfers to Old Trafford. Admist all the transfer saga they have now been told that by Atletico Madrid that Joao Felix is not leaving the club.
Atletico Madrid have told any clubs interested in Joao Felix that he is going nowhere. French publication Sport has claimed Man United wanted to sign Felix last year and there had been suggestions that the Premier League side may make a move this summer. There had also been reports that Atletico would consider a swap deal, with Felix moving to Barcelona and Antoine Griezmann heading back to Atletico. However, Atletico president Enrique Cerezo insisted: “There’s no way [Joao Felix] leaves. “He has to adapt, but when he takes off he’ll be one of the most important players on the planet. “Players aren’t machines; they have good days and bad, and he’ll have many glorious afternoons at this club.”
