Another done deal has been announced as English club parted ways with their manager and this is coming after the January transfer window has been shut.
English club West Bromwich Albion have sacked their manager Valérien Ismaël due to recent poor performance. The Hawthorns are on a mission of returning to the English Premier League next season but the team is currently fifth on the log and could miss out on playoffs.
West Bromwich Albion released an official statement on their website to announce the sacking of Valérien Ismaël on Wednesday evening.
“West Bromwich Albion Football Club can confirm Valérien Ismaël has today left his position as head coach,” the club confirmed.“Assistant head coach Adam Murray has also departed The Hawthorns. The club would like to place on record its thanks to Valérien and Adam for their efforts and wishes them well in the future.
“The process of recruiting a new head coach is now under way and an appointment will be announced in due course.”
According to reports in Sky Sports News, Steve Bruce is in advanced negotiations with West Brom over their vacant new head coach.
