Pastor Adeboye asks Buhari’s Govt to focus on the masses

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God  Pastor E.A Enoch Adeboye has told President Muhammadu Buhari and his government to focus on policies that would eradicate the suffering of Nigerians.

Concise News reports that the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) made this known on Sunday at the church’s thanksgiving service for Nigeria’s 59th independence anniversary.

Adeboye, who was represented at the service in Ebute Metta, Lagos, by the Assistant General Overseer (Administration and Personnel), Johnson Odesola, said that with such policies, Nigeria would take its rightful place in comity of nations.

It was learned that monarchs, including the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, attended the service as the cleric lamented the state of Nigeria at 59.

He said Nigeria’s 59th independence anniversary would have been meaningful if the country had executed policies that reduced the suffering of the masses as it appears the wealth of the nation is in the hands of a tiny number of Nigerians.

Adeboye, making reference to the border closure against importation of rice, said that the order had caused hardship for Nigerians.

As for Oba Gbadebo, he urged the country’s leaders to be committed to the welfare of Nigerians
