See what Klopp said about Tuchel, Mason Mount after Liverpool lost to Chelsea

The English Premier League continued from the midweek as the battle for the title, top four and relegation survival continues today in the English top flight football.

Liverpool hosted Chelsea in the Premier league on Thursday night at Anfield. Liverpool who are currently struggling for form, will have to face a high flying blues under the management of Thomas Tuchel.

The match at Anfield ended in a Chelsea victory thanks to a spectacular solo goal by Mason Mount, in the dying stages of the first half as the young English midfielder curls the ball past Allison Becker, from the edge of the box.

After the match, Jurgen Klopp showered praise on Mason Mount and Chelsea performance. See what he said below.

“Jurgen Klopp: The individual quality of Mason Mount in that moment made the difference. It was a tight game, intense game. Both teams invested a lot. That is it pretty much.”

Klopp has now lost 5 consecutive matches so far. And despite having a terrific squad, everyone can possibly say that Liverpool’s title challenge this season might be impossible with the likes of Manchester city and Chelsea pushing harder to top 4.

After clash against Chelsea, Klopp recounted that Tuchel’s tactics seems to be transforming Chelsea into a terrific team and there is no doubt they will definitely make it at the top 4 in EPL table this season.

Jurgen said ” we did our best not to concede more goals from Tuchel’s boys, and there was no clear opportunities for us to get an equalizer, because his defense line appeared stronger after Mason’s stunning goal.
It is always good for a coach to adopt a great pattern of play that suit the talents on ground, and i think Thomas’s tactics is really working out for the boys at West London.”
