Former Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has been contracted by the South Africa’s Ramaphosa to use her vast experience to end recession for the country.

As South Africa entered another recession, and Nigeria becoming best performing economy according to a report, they have now look the way of Okonjo-Iweala to rescue the nation.

Recall that former president, Olusegun Obasanjo appointed Okonjo-Iweala to rescue Nigeria from heavy foreign debt, which she did successfully.

‘A prophet is not without honour except in his own house’. South Africa has appreciated the worth of the former Finance Minister and has gone for her.

Iweala took to her tweeter handle to announce that she met with President Cyril Ramaphosa, and members of the Presidential Economic Advisory Council in Pretoria to discuss economy matter.

See her tweet below:

“With President Ramaphosa, members of cabinet, and members of the Presidential Economic Advisory Council in Pretoria discussing sources of growth for the South African economy and win-win economic interactions with the continent,” she said.
