The Supreme Court has finally dismissed the application for review filed by former Imo State Governor Emeka Iheodiha of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Recall that in its judgement of January 14, 2020, the Supreme Court declared Hope Uzodinma of All Progressive Congress (APC) the winner.
And for now the Court has shunned Ihedioha the second time, as it has rejected the application for review of the judgement on Tuesday 3rd of March, 2020.
The Apex Court said the review was lacking in merit. And as it stands, Hope Uzodinma will remain the governor of the State without any further distraction.
Justice Olukayode Ariwoola who read the ruling also said that it is a final judgment of the court.
