Thomas Tuchel breaks good news to Chelsea fans ahead Everton clash
After a narrow escape against Leeds United in the ongoing English Premier League, Thomas Tuchel tutored side, Chelsea will be looking to catch up with Manchester City who won with 7-0 against Leeds.
The Blues are back in action this midweek, as they welcome visiting Everton in a match day 17 clash at Stamford Bridge on Thursday.
The Blues are currently experiencing a dip in form which has seen them cede first place on the log, but they will be looking to build on their 3-2 win over Leeds United over the weekend. Everton themselves have been dreadful all season, and a 3-1 loss to Crystal Palace in their last game sees them languishing in 14th place.
Chelsea have been battling an injury crisis of recent, with several players missing in action, especially in midfield. But in his prematch conference on Wednesday, Tuchel confirmed the return of two first team stars: N’golo Kante and Trevor Chalobah. According to the German tactician, Kante has taken part in the last two training sessions and will take part in the game, while Chalobah is also back in the squad after suffering an injury to his hamstring.
