CHELSEA have been looking for more moves for world-class players as they continue to reposition the club and the squad to suit the style of play for the new boss who took over from Frank Lampard.
According to reports in Italy as per Football London, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is eyeing a move for an AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie. The Ivory Coast international is a tough-tackling midfielder renowned for breaking up play and robbing possession back.
A move for the AC Milan midfielder could signal the end of N’Golo Kante at Chelsea as both players are similar.
Tuchel on Kante🗣️: “N’Golo Kante fits into any managers plans. He is one of the best midfielders in the world. To see the guy live, to see how he works, how humble he is, the quality he gives to the team. I am so humbled to be his coach. He will start tomorrow.”
Tuchel once again used Kante off the bench to help see out the result against Newcastle. It’s early days, but really warming to him as Chelsea manager. Much bigger tests to come.
