Chelsea players have returned to training ahead of the start of the new English Premier League season. The likes of Edouard Mendy, Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic were pictured training with their teammates on Wednesday morning.
However, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has not signed any player this summer. According to reports in Spain, the 47 year old manager has made an official offer to sign Barcelona Left back Alejandro Balde. The 17 year old is said to be one of the best young defenders in Spanish football.
According to reports, the likes of Juventus and Inter Milan are also interested in signing him this summer. However, Thomas Tuchel has now made a bid of £8 million in order to sign the Spanish left back this month.
Despite Chelsea’s interest, it is believed that officials at Barcelona do not want to sell Alejandro Balde this summer. This means that Thomas Tuchel has to increase the offer from £8 million to about £15 million if he wants to sign the Spanish youngster this month.
Reports also suggest that Tuchel has registered his interest in signing Italian left back Leonardo Spinazzola from Roma this summer.
