Thomas Tuchel makes Chelsea’s first transfer decision as world-class player completes deal

Thomas Tuchel has made his very first transfer decision as Chelsea manager as a left back has completed a loan deal in the ongoing January transfer window.

There are more of such decision to be made by Chelsea manager because the Blues are very active in both selling and buying players.

Recall that Chelsea were the busiest in the summer transfer window.

Chelsea and Ghanaian left back Baba Rahman has been sent out on loan to Greece after months of suffering a severe injury. However, this could be Thomas Tuchel’s first mistake at Chelsea owing to the fact that the Ghanaian is a bit better than Alonso and Emerson, he looks so solid at the back and could be a solid back up for Ben Chilwell.
Rahman joined Chelsea in 2015 from Augsburg and has only made 23 appearances for the blued but injuries remain his problems. Thomas Tuchel on the other side is probably looking forward to bring some stars to Stamford bridge. Big names like Erling Braut Haaland, Marquinhos and David Alaba has been called but no deal is confirmed.
Sending off Baba Rahman to loan might be an avenue to bring in David Alaba but it might in turn be a mistake to Tuchel if he does not replace the Ghanaian. Marcos Alonso and Olivier Giroud might be leaving Stamford bridge at the end of the season just as Rahman has left for Greece already to join PAOK.
