Thomas Tuchel has continued on his great job to bring the glory days back at the Bridge and he still looking to strengthen his squad in the summer despite the quality of players he has at the club.
Chelsea has reportedly been considering a move for Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic after the players have been at the Catalan club for just nine months after he was signed on a swap deal with Arthur Melo who is now at Juventus.
The star has failed to settle and earn Ronald Koeman’s trust and have a place in his starting lineup and he still has three more years left at Camp Nou in his contract with a buying clause of £345 million but the midfielder will likely leave in the transfer window.
Both the club and the player want to part ways and his fee needed for his services will not be included in his buying clause which will result in a more rational deal for him.
Chelsea who was in the race to sign him last summer could be back again in the race and strengthen their midfield after reports from Italy stating that former manager at Chelsea Maurizio Sarri is going back to Napoli and he was to sign Chelsea midfielder Jorginho.
Pjanic has not started for Barcelona since the start of February and has not played a full game since December.
