Today 22nd July, Chelsea Have Announced Two Deals Concerning The Departure of one of their player And Coach.
1. Lewis Bate’s Move To Leeds United
Chelsea has confirmed and announced the departure of Academy Midfielder Lewis Bate who completed a permanent transfer to Leeds United on a three-year deal for around £1.5m.
Lewis Bate started as a Chelsea player at the age of eight, becoming a captain of the Blues Under-18 in the FA Youth Cup Final last year as well as picking up the PL2 player of the month award in December.
2. Eric Ramsay Joins Man United
The second deal Chelsea announced and Confirmed today was the transfer of their development squad assistant coach Eric Ramsay to Manchester United to coach their men’s first team. Man United have already announced the signing of Ramsay from Chelsea on the 12th of July, however, Chelsea confirmed and announced his departure today 22nd July.Photo Credit: Getty Images
The English Coach who joined the blues in the summer of 2019 from Shrewsbury Town, was part of the coaching team who led the Development squad to the Premier League 2 title in the 2019/20 season and also led them to a second-place finish last season.
