Trump sends strong message to Iran after killing General Soleimani

President Donald Trump on Friday breaks his silence since American airstrike killed Iran’s top military commander, Soleimani as he has sent a strong message to Iran.

Read the President words below:

“Iran never won a war, but never lost a negotiation!” the president tweeted. It wasn’t immediately clear what Trump meant by the tweet.

He added, “General Qassem Soleimani has killed or badly wounded thousands of Americans over an extended period of time, and was plotting to kill many more…but got caught! He was, directly and indirectly, responsible for the death of millions of people, including the recent large number of PROTESTERS killed in Iran itself.

“While Iran will never be able to properly admit it, Soleimani was both hated and feared within the country. They are not nearly as saddened as the leaders will let the outside world believe. He should have been taken out many years ago!” he wrote.

On Trump’s order, U.S. forces on Thursday launched an airstrike that killed Iranian Gen. Qasem Soleimani and an aide after they arrived at Baghdad’s airport. Iran vowed to retaliate. The State Department urged American citizens to leave Iraq.
