Tuchel could replace Timo Werner with any of these four prolific goal scorers this summer

Thomas Tuchel and Chelsea have a number of world-class strikers on their wish list going in the summer transfer window.

It comes after Thomas Tuchel made signing a world-class forward a priority going into next season after an impressive start to life in the Stamford Bridge dugout.

During his time in charge, the Blues are in the FA Cup final, the Champions League final and are third in the Premier League.

But despite the quick success, there are still problems when it comes to converting chances – namely down to Timo Werner, who has missed a number of gilt-edged opportunities in front of goal.

But who is on Chelsea’s shopping list?

Erling Haaland

The Borussia Dortmund striker is top of the targets at Stamford Bridge after a remarkable season, scoring 37 times in all competitions.

His agent Mino Raiola has been around Europe looking to land his client a new club, with plenty of suitors.

It puts Chelsea at a disadvantage, with Real Madrid, Manchester City and Manchester United interested as well, but Haaland is desperate to win the Champions League – a competition the Blues have found themselves doing very well in recently.

Harry Kane

Chelsea would love to sign Kane and there might even be a glint of a mutual feeling with the striker desperate to start winning trophies.

With that dream at Tottenham looking more and more unlikely, the England international – born and raised in London – might realise that his best chance might be away from his boyhood club.

Spurs chief Daniel Levy would never allow Kane to join a Premier League rival, especially Chelsea, but if there is even an inkling then the Blues must go all out for the 27-year-old.

Sergio Aguero

A much more reasonable transfer that could go ahead this summer is the signing of Aguero.

The Argentine will leave City at the end of the season when his contract expires, putting his 10-year spell at the club to an end.

Roman Abramovich was desperate to sign him at Atletico Madrid back in 2011 and that standpoint has not changed while the 32-year-old could provide some welcome experience to the squad with Olivier Giroud looking likely to leave.

Robert Lewandowski

Another striker on Abramovich’s personal wish list is Lewandowski, who seems to be getting better with age.

At 32, the Poland international has blown the Bundesliga open after scoring 39 times in 27 matches – already his highest total by a long way – despite missing a number of games through injury.

Other than Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, there are probably no better goalscorers on the planet and Chelsea would love to have his services – even if just for a short while.
