CHELSEA manager, Thomas Tuchel has explained why top striker and club records signing, Romelu Lukaku will not start for the Blues against their London rivals, Arsenal.
Chelsea are occupying the third position in the English Premier League and looking to consolidate on finishing for UEFA Champions League.
Arsenal on the other hand are looking to bounce back from back to back defeat as they continue to chase top four finish.
Tuchel has told reporters that Lukaku will not start the match but could be brought in to the match in the second half around 70th minutes.
The German tactician told reporters that Lukaku needs to find new inspiration and since coming back from injury he needs to be totally fit to score goals for the team. He talked about the Belgian missing clear chances against Real Madrid. Also that the Blues will be playing a high game against Arsenal, energy will be needed and Lukaku is not ready at the moment for such tempo.
Tuchel added that nothing is concluded yet about the English Premier League this season, and where Chelsea will finish is not decided yet.
