Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has urged the German forward striker Timo Werner not to regret over his wasted chances yesterday in their match against Real Madrid in first leg of Champions League semi final. Tuchel admitted that it’s something normal for players to miss a great ful chance at the box but what matter is to avoid repeating the same mistakes,
You don’t have to regret over it Werner, it’s something normal therefore regretting it doesn’t add any value to you” says Tuchel.
This comes after Timo Werner felt frustrated at the dressing room following his great wasted chance in first half. Chelsea could have win against Real Madrid narrowly in first half if Timo Werner could have scored his clear chances in first half. Timo Werner apologized to the coach over this matter,
“Am sorry boss for it” says Werner.
Yesterday’s match ended in 1-1 after both Christian Pullisic and Karim Benzema utilized their chances overwhelmingly. The American star provided an early lead to Chelsea after scoring in fourteenth minute before it was equalized by Karim Benzema in 24 the minutes.
Both of the teams deserves to win but draw was a perfect result since both sides were equal in terms of match statistics. Manchester City will play against Paris Saint German today night and Pep Guardiola’s side are aiming to win the match but could Ruben Dias and Cancelo stop Neymar and Mbappe today?
