CHELSEA manager, Thomas Tuchel has his eyes on three players that form his own list to join him at Stamford Bridge when the summer transfer window is finally opened.
The Bluesl will be looking to sign a new defensive midfielder in the summer transfer window, The Telegraph’s Matt Law has claimed on the London Is Blue Podcast.
West Ham’s Declan Rice is on top of the shortlist, with Thomas Tuchel being very impressed with the former Chelsea academy player.
He’s not the only option, though, as Aurelien Tchouameni from Monaco and Boubacar Kamara from Marseille complete the three-man shortlist – but Rice would be the first choice.
The player himself would prefer to return to Chelsea, but Man United are also likely to be considering his signing.
The 22-year-old has been named in the provisional England squad for the Euro 2020 along with three Chelsea players, Ben Chilwell, Reece James and his best friend Mason Mount.
