Striker Tahvon Campbell has joined National League FC Halifax Town on loan until the end of the season.

The 24-year-old recently returned from a temporary spell at National League North leaders Gloucester City and made his first appearance for the Robins this term in the FA Cup third round win over Mansfield Town.

Tottenham are among clubs monitoring the situation of Manchester United star Jesse Lingard, who is facing an uncertain future at the club.

Report from ESPN has shed some light on the future of Jesse Lingard. The Manchester United attacker is apparently unhappy at the club due to his lack of game-time in the ongoing campaign. As a result, he is keen on leaving the club, with a host of European giants including Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan already keen on securing his services.

Hotspur, in particular, have been one of those clubs who have excelled in terms of overall team depth. As a result, the Lilywhites have been able to field a completely different in the domestic cup competitions as well as the UEFA Europa League. The Bayern Munich defender has been linked with Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea, but was always expected to join Zinedine Zidane’s side.

Alaba reportedly wanted a package worth £12million a year after tax, the equivalent of £230,000 per week post-deductions – an astronomical figure by any club’s standards.

Chelsea are reportedly considering a club-record move for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland at the end of the season.

The 20-year-old is arguably the most sought-after youngster in world football after scoring 35 goals in 35 appearances for BVB since joining a year ago.

Chelsea will face competition from a number of other clubs, though, as Real Madrid, Barcelona and domestic rivals Manchester United are all said to be interested.

The West London outfit’s current record transfer is Kai Havertz, who could cost up to £72m with add-ons included.
