UEFA reacts after Tuchel’s comments on Eden Hazard ahead Champions League clash with Real Madrid

The European football governing body popularly known as UEFA has reacted, after Chelsea football club of England head coach Thomas Tuchel showered praise on Belgium national team star Eden Hazard, ahead of his team’s UEFA champions League Semi-finals clash against Spanish Laliga Santander Champions Real Madrid on Tuesday night, at Alfredo Di Stefano stadium.

Eden Hazard enjoyed a memorable stay at Chelsea football club of England before departing for Real Madrid two seasons ago.

The former LOSC Lille football club of France star joined Chelsea football club in the summer transfer window of 2012, and he was able to impress for the Blues, as he won trophies like two UEFA Europa League, English Premier League, Emirates FA Cup etc before joining Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid.

Ever since Eden Hazard joined Real Madrid, he has been struggling to make impact with the club, and he has spent several months on a sideline.

The Belgian returned to action in Real Madrid’s goalless draw against Real Betis FC on Saturday evening from injury, and he is expected to be in action for the club against his former club later today.

Chelsea football club of England head coach Thomas Tuchel has now showered praise on the Belgium star for his quality, and his achievement when he was the Blues player, and he also said he has a biggest respect for the Real Madrid dazzler.

Reacting to Thomas Tuchel’s statement on Eden Hazard, UEFA posted on their verified Twitter handle on Tuesday afternoon that;

“🗣️ Thomas Tuchel on Eden Hazard: “He’s a top-quality player and a key player for many years at this club. So consistent. I have the biggest respect for him.”

Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid will host Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea football club of England at Alfredo Di Stefano stadium, later today, and Eden Hazard will be looking forward to start against his former club.
