Alaba’s departure this summer has already been announced (though the destination remains unconfirmed), and SportBild writes that Boateng will not be retained either, with clubs in Italy and England reportedly interested in his services.

United ‘on alert’ for possible Christian Pulisic transfer

United are on alert over a possible move for Christian Pulisic, according to The Daily Mail. The USA international is yet to start a match under new manager Thomas Tuchel and it is suggested he could leave the club if there isn’t an improvement in playing time soon. The report claims United, Liverpool and Bayern Munich are all possible suitors should he leave Stamford Bridge.

Mundo Deportivo says Sergio Aguero has asked Barcelona pay him a transfer bonus if the club wants to sign him this summer, believing that such a payment would be reasonable because he can leave Manchester City without costing the Catalan club a transfer fee.

Aguero is a close friend of Lionel Messi and could help convince his compatriot to stay at Camp Nou, the report adds.

TALKS ONGOING WITH BALOGUN

Talks between Arsenal and striker Folarin Balogun’s representatives over a new contract are ongoing. Arsenal have not given up hope Balogun will stay beyond his current deal, which is up in the summer.
