When will 2022/23 season start and end for the EPL, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1? Check Dates

Now that 2021/2022 football season has come to end in each of Europe’s top 5 leagues, when will the new season starts and ends?.

Consequently, we will be bringing you next season’s start and end date for each of those 5 leagues, as well as when each of those leagues will go and return from the 2022 World Cup break starting from November this year.

1) Premier League

The 2022/23 Premier League season will start on Saturday, 06 August 2022, and end on Sunday, 28 May 2023. The league will go for the 2022 World Cup break after Sunday 13 November and return to action starting from the boxing day (December 26) of the same year.

2) La Liga

The 2022/23 La Liga season which is the 92nd edition of the competition will kick off on Friday, 12 August 2022, and end on Sunday, 04 June 2023. The league will also go on the World Cup break after playing the fixtures on 13 November 2022.

3) Serie A

According to Football Italia, the next Serie A season will start on Saturday, 13 August 2022, and end on Sunday, 04 June 2023. The World Cup break will last from 13 November 2022 to the beginning of January 2023.

4) Bundesliga

According to Bundesliga.com, the 2022/23 Bundesliga season will be played from Friday, 05 August 2022, to Saturday, 27 May 2023. Due to the World Cup in November, the final matchday of the calendar year in the Bundesliga (Matchday 15) will be played on 13 November 2022. Following the World Cup and winter break, the league will resume on Friday, 20 January 2023.

5) Ligue 1

According to Ligue 1, the new season starts on Saturday, 06 August 2022, and ends on Sunday, 04 June 2023. The World Cup break is from 13 November 2022 to 28 December of the same year.
