Worst VAR decision as Man City vs Liverpool ends in draw

The much talked about English premier league fixture between Manchester City and Liverpool at the Etihad stadium has been an interesting one, as both teams are playing to their best performances to ensure that they win the match. The scoreline remains at 2-2 as at the time of writing this article.

The goal from Kelvin De Bruyne in the 5 minutes of the first half, assisted by Bernardo Silva gave Manchester City the early first half lead against Liverpool. The subsequent goal from Diogo Jota equalized the scoreline.

However, Gabriel Jesus recorded a goal in the 36th minutes of the first half, to give Manchester City the lead against Liverpool. The first half ended in a 2-1 scoreline for both teams. However, Sadio Mane scored an equalizer for Liverpool in the early minutes of the second half.Meanwhile, the Referee made a poor decision against Manchester City in the second half of the match today at the Etihad stadium.In the 63 minutes of the second half, Raheem Sterling scored another goal for Manchester City, however, the Referee Overruled the goal as offside.

This decision made by the Referee and the Video Assistant Referee was indeed the worst decision made in the second, as Raheem Sterling was clearly onside.
