Arsenal have book their place in the quarter-final of the Carabao Cup after beating Leeds United at Emirates stadium on Tuesday evening.
The Gunners made perfect start to the game, as they dominating possession but Mikel Arteta’s men failed to utilizing their chances in the first 45 minutes of the game.
Early in the second half, Arsenal finally broken the deadlock through Calum Chambers. The Englishman, who came off the bench scoring a brilliant header to give Mikel Arteta’s men deserved lead.
Several minutes later, Eddie Nketiah doubled Arsenal lead with a slightly bizarre goal. The young forward pounced on a bit of a shocker from Leeds at the back, but in fairness to him he produced a sublime touch over the onrushing goalkeeper, and then did well to control the ball when it came down again before a slightly scuffed finish that rolled slowly over the line.
